Solve : lost cd drive? |

Answer» hello everyone.....i am having a problem finding my cd drive...when i click on my computer i only get a: for floppy disk and c: for my hardrive...i do not see and cannot find what i think would be the d: cd drive.....please help....Windows can't find it either so it's either disconnected, malfunctioning or dead. See this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982116 On my computer, one day, CD/DVD drive mysteriously disappeared out of the windows explorer list. I edited registry a bit and it came back. What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, VIRUS, error, etc)?
