Answer» I'm suspecting malware due to the FOLLOWING situations. First, I tried to update Java and got: "Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not correctly installed..." While trying to do an Adobe update I got: "temp folder is on a drive that is full or inaccesable. Free up space or verify that you have write permission on the temp folder" I got this same message while trying to update and reinstalling Spamfighter. It mentioned three possibilities for Vista with service pack 1. Even though I have service pack 2 I clicked on the three possibilities and got "this update does not apply to your SYSTEM". THANKS for your help............... any more thoughts?That would mean you already have it. I have not idea what happened.
