Answer» I have several folders created in Outlook. What I would like to do with some of the folders, is to have any messages in them always appear unread. Is there a way to ACCOMPLISH this?
Any HELP would be greatly appreciated.

one of many problems with msoft......outlook express/ms outlook..........? a name change may have helped load of folks. I hate to do this again but I still can't find what you are referring to. I did a search of the page you sent and could not finding any of the wording you mentioned. you could hide the files in the windows system.....for example....click my computer....then click the local DISK now got to tools folder options. view....scroll down and tick the show all hidden files and then just reverse the process....and your files will be hidden....or you could try this>http://www.pcsoftland.com/utilities/encryption-tools/Masker.htmIn EXCHANGE Server, there is, or used to be, a checkbox you could use to MARK messages in a folder Unread even if users looked at them, so long as the messages weren't modified.
If you are talking about personal versions of Outlook, this can still be done using a macro. A look at VB help shows that the property setting involved would be "objMailItem.unread = True" so it's definitely possible, but you will need someone with the object hierarchy, etc. fresh in their mind actually to implement it for you.
