I'm in need of product knowledge. When I purchased my compaq in August,06. They recommended Wintv pvr2 to run with Media Center 11. I downloaded the product and after 2 days of running tv and recording programs (only 4 hours) the computer crashed(2nd time in 3 months) (I also run my DTV thru both programs)

Is there a conflict in running wintv and media center? are they like minded products ( do the same job)? should I just be running my DTV thru media center and forget about adding the wintv?

maxDo you have a built in tuner card if not i would sugest that rout . My card is buit in and not problems I record over 15 hours a day.
You can never have too much GOOD TV And you have time to watch TV 15 hours a day?It would be great if someone would actually give some advise and not be flipant about someone's problem. I thought by coming to a forum someone would actually help.

As you can see I'm not the one watching 15hours of tv per day. I just want to know what can be done to fix my problem or if someone had some experience with this situation.

Obviously this is a forum to criticize people and their problems and not help.

and by the way I only keep my favorite shows and just deleat the ones I dont watch every NIGHT.
