Media player classic sometimes runs at 100% CPU level when playing an mkv video. How to REDUCE CPU level (don't suggest getting a dual core or better processor, LOL)

When I use Media Player Classic Homecinema (not same as original media player classic but homecinema is supposedly the updated version maintained by a new guy), there's no picture, just sound.

Okay, anyhow, vote in the poll!I agree VLC is darned good but as my MPC does so much and the interface is one I prefer - that is what I use most. I do have a DUO core but the MPC does not seem to ''punish'' my CPU at all badly. Even on my old P4 it was quite acceptable.

Also tho still use AlShow often.

WMP - don't like - way too much baggage!
