I'm not sure. Maybe your video card. What do you have there? What are your computer specs? VLC plays very well on my computer. I also like VLC player. I've only EVER had two issues with it. Trying to play DVDs from my USB DVD drive. Still haven't determined if that's the drive or VLC's FAULT, working on that now. The second was opening too many MP3s into the playist at once.
