Solve : memory sticks?

That thumb drives are wrongly named by poeple who call them memory sticks.But they have memory in them, and they look like sticks.
Call them what you like...but memory sticks is not INCORRECT.It's really not incorrect -- it's all in how you want to think about memory, I guess, and memory can be permanent (like on hard drives, and USB DEVICES, etc) or it can be TEMPORARY (like in RAM, or my brain).
