Answer» My microphone is not WORKING with my system. There is nothing wrong with the Mic.
I can SEE the microphone control in the volume control.
Its L R balance button is not working. (Its in dimmed format).
When i insert my driver CD, the audio driver control is not showing(Its also in dimmed format).
So i install driver by taking set up from the cd's driver folder.
i installed my audio driver many times still its not happening.
Mine is a ASUS P4BGL-VM motherboard. and C Media is the audio driver.
can someone please help me...More info please. Make of microphone and OS.Ok with c-media I had this problem too. There are like 2 different inputs. To change it go to control panel>sounds and devices>audio tab. Once there, go under recording DEVICE and change that until you find the ONE that works
