Answer» Hi, I'm new to these forums, so I'm not sure how well this is going to work, but here goes. I've got an assignment to do on MS access, and frankly, I have no idea what the *censored* I'm doing whatsoever. Could someone please walk me through it? Thank you in advance. Doesn't sound like your tutor has done a very good job...
What do you need to know?Well, this is taken straight from the assignment..
"• USING ADVANCED database features to create a database containing at least three tables, two forms (one with a sub-form), one query and one report."
This is also from it..
General Database Specifications Your Access database will contain the following objects: • An entity table of PERSONAL information, the records for which you will import from a comma–separated value (csv) file. • A second entity table of your choice. • One transaction table to hold the transactions between the other two entity tables. • Two forms (one based on the personal information entity table and the other on the transaction table). • One query based on at least two tables (including the transaction table). • One report based on the query.
Even after seeing the professor do an example in class, I still have no clue on what to do.Also, I should point out that I've never used the program before, so I'd probably need extra clarification on even simple procedures.>Start here<
Have you had any database DESIGN training? Seems like rather a tricky assignment to do if you have so little experience.
Have you been SKIPPING classes?
