Solve : Microsoft Office 2010 product activation code?

Answer»

Hi,

I had Microsoft Office 2010 installed onto my laptop when I was working for a Company 2 years ago.
I have now left this Company and for some reason it is now telling me that the product activation code is invalid.
How can I find the activation code (I am not able to contact the Company anymore).
I do have the same version running on a desktop.
Is it possible to extract the code from this version?
If not then how can I find an activation code?

Many Thanks

The "some reason" is probably that since you no longer work for the company, you are no longer entitled to use the SOFTWARE under the company's license.

If this is a properly licensed version that you are legally entitled to run, and which has a license allowing installation on a FIXED and a portable computer, then you can type "Find the Microsoft Office 2010 Product Key Code" into a search engine to see various Microsoft Office product key finders. I do not know if any of them work.

By paying for a license.

Hi Salmon,

Thanks for your advice.
It is a valid copy.
I have tried searching the web but without MUH luck.,
I've heard there is a way of extracting it from the valid version but not sure how. Quote from: dgreen on February 15, 2012, 11:42:20 AM

Was this software provided by company when you worked there?  Have you ever ACTUALLY bought Office 2010? Quote from: dgreen on February 15, 2012, 12:07:36 PM
