I copy a lot of text from the web every day and place it in Word. I generally use one Word folder for 6 months and then CREATE a new one because the last one loads too slow. Now, for some reason after starting a new Word folder, the page that I'm copying and pasting has been cut to about 50% after being PLACED in Word. I've played with the settings but am not getting anywhere. I use the Chrome browser with windows 10. I've tried googling and EVEN youtube to find how to reset the defaults thinking it might help but the feedback is USUALLY for Word 2016, not 2019.Copy and paste for any web page to MS Word may give some unwanted results.
I only used Notepad to do copy and paste.
An alternative is to use Word Pad.

I have MS Word on my system, but I often use other editors to suit a task.

Thanks for the ADVICE, I guess I'll have to go to one of those. The thing is Word had been working OK until I made a new document to continue as in the past. I can't figure out what could have changed.
