Solve : Microsoft Word/Powerpoint email server? |
|
Answer» I recently typed a document on both Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and WANTED to email it to someone. It said I needed to setup both the email servers which include the Incoming email server type:POP3, IMAP, and HTTP. Then it drops down and says; INCOMING EMAIL POP3 OR IMAP SERVER. Then it drops down again and says: OUTGOING EMAIL SERVER (SMTP) NAME. Then once more it drops down and says OUTGOING SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION. When I went to the help desk it says I need to find my (ISP) Internet Service Provider. Can anyone help me figure this out, thanks. How do you normally do email?I am trying to send a document that looks professional to a company and I need it to be ATTACHED. That is why I am asking and also so I don't have to KEEP typing the same THING over again to each customer.Quote from: soybean on February 13, 2010, 08:40:01 AM How do you normally do email? In other words, do you use Windows Mail for your email, or something else?
