What's the model # of your machine (Pavilion xxxx)?not sure, where do I find that? It says hp slimline on the towerSystem Properties: Manufacturer HP-Pavilion Product NC733AA-ABA s3713w Serial Number MXU91304WS I have spent the 6 hours on a different computer trying to figure it out and am just so confused. I know I need to download chipset but not sure which ones and from where. Please help! HP support site http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/welcome-copy.html#SupportUnfortunately, the HP site is not showing any XP downloads for the HP Pavilion Slimline s3713w (other than a LightScribe update).
Don't lose faith - I am now researching your motherboard.HP Pavilion Slimline s3713w Desktop PC
Ok - the PEGATRON Acacia 1.02 carries the nVidia MCP61 chipset, which is included in the nForce 430 series.
So, try this download: http://www.nvidia.com/content/license/location_0605.asp?url=http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/nForce/standalone/430_410/8.26_11.09_nforce_winxp_english.exe
After the installation, reboot and check your Device Manager for any remaining flags. It wont let me, it says can not unpack the exicutable is corrupt. I saved it to a flash drive and then tryied to download it on the computer. Cause I cant get on line on that computer I have to do it all from another one Understood - must have been a bad download.
I know that's a valid link, because I've used it before.ok I found my motherboard

I still not sure what a chipset is or where to download it. Can somebody please help me out, I having a breakdown.I suggest that you contact HP for the proper drivers for you may need to purchase or re-order for the mobo/chipset driver and clear you of any other unknown devices. It seems that they are not available online for that particular machine.
