Greetings!

Today or shall i SAY last NIGHT I installed windows 10 64bit on an older machine and am having issues with its GPU driver.

Its an Acer Aspire AM1100-E1304A. Older machine but more then capable of running 10. So far everything has worked just fine aside from this error.

I downloaded the GPU driver from AMD (ATI x1200 GPU) and the installer from ATI refuses to install giving me an error STATING the component the installer searches for is not available, and it closes the installer.

So i downloaded the Chipset driver from Acer themselves, this one did install no problems. At the end of the install it asked for netframework 3.5 which i then installed but it had errors. Upon reboot it gave me the "missing or could not find MOM.implementation" error.

So i downloaded another 3.5netframework but it STILL happens. Upon uninstalling the driver, the setup locks up or seems to go on for HOURS trying to uninstall it but never does.

Any suggestions would help. yes i realize this is a Vista 64 driver, however it shouldnt have any issues working. My last case scenario i pop in some cheap PCI-E Gpu. The gentlement only uses it to stream TV. Was the driver 64 bit ? ?Quote from: comda on April 29, 2016, 08:54:51 AM
