Answer» Quick question:
Where do Firefox and Thunderbird store the Bookmarks and E-mails? I can not seem to locate the folders.
Firefox favorites: OS = XP
start>run type %appdata% then hit enter Mozilla>Firefox>PROFILES>og8ygs21.default>bookmarks.html
They're displayed in html format but right clicking & properties will show the url.
Here's a bit of reading: http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile#locate
That's where they are in my box anyway. Sorry can't HELP with Thunderbird 'cos not using it but the Firefox Help section might have an answer.
Just FOUND this too: http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/faq#profiles
Thank you very much.
I had looked there, but I did not quite know what to LOOK for. I assumed it would simply display the bookmarks as Internet Explorer did.
As for Thunderbird, I think simply copying the ENTIRE Profile folder will suffice.
