Solve : MS Excel?

Answer»

Hi , Is it possible for a ms excel spreadsheet input box entry to change after a number has been input?Exactly what is an "input box entry"? Are you simply entering numbers into cells, or is "input box entry" a feature you have enabled for ENHANCED data entry?Sorry, trying to describe it too well for my own good!
I'm simply entering numbers in cells, these numbers are then used to calculate a total at the bottom of the sheet.
The spreadsheet I use has various worksheets which interlink and calculate different information ALSO. The problem I have is when I enter the Numbers into this specific column and then do other work on the attached worksheets when I go back to the original column the numbers have changed. I can see any formulas which relate to the boxes I am entering numbers into which would make them change !??! Quote from: alisteve on August 12, 2010, 02:10:52 PM

Are you SAYING the cells where the undesired changes occur do not have formulas in them? Not that I can see, I just dont understand how I can type in numbers then do other things on the sheet and when I go back the original numbers have changed. I have tried looking it up on the net and come across cricular references but dont understand and cant get them to do it on the sheetCells containing formulas could change in the manner you're explaining. Cells containing values will not change. I think you need to review your formulas and how they are a linked across sheets. I don't KNOW what else to tell you.
