my laptop came with a trial VERSION of MS office 07. I am in school, and use a lot of Word for school. When i am not at school i save a lot of information to a thumb drive, so i can continue the work on my laptop. Since you are a Student you should inquire at the bookstore about a full copy of Office 2010...the discounts for Students are substantial and should be taken advantage of whenever POSSIBLE....matter of fact grab Win 7 as WELL and save it for your next upgrade..... what about power point, and excel. They will also work the same with open office. I didn't THINK to ask about that as well, i do apologize. and i didnt know about the student discount. i will have to look into that as well.
