Solve : MS Word 2000, change one of two fonts? |
|
Answer» I am using Windows 98, MS Word 2000. I have a very long document with both Hebrew and English fonts. Is there a way to change only the Hebrew font? All at once. without having to change each word or RETYPE the whole thing. You mean different languages, not just different fonts, right?Yes, this can be DONE programmatically, using VISUALBASIC - i.e. select all text where the typeface used has such-and-such a name. I think smoe of the other guys here are pretty good at VBA, so hopefully one of them will have a solution. Otherwise, I'll try and have a look at this next week if I get the chance.Actually, Find can be used to Find and replace specific formatting. Word's Help has info on the procedure; by entering Find and replace text or other items in the Help search box and then clicking on the hyperlink for Find and replace specific formatting, an explanation appears. I would have explained this in my ORIGINAL post, but I'm still wondering about the font vs. language question. No response from OP yet.Thanks. That makes sense. I was searching for "change fonts". |
