Answer» Let we have created a doument in MS word named test.doc. i want to save it in .pdf format how is it possible. and one thing how to open the .pdf file in ms word.xenium007 ..... I'm wondering why if you have MS word installed , why would you want to save it in pdf format ? I have MS Office 2003 and on MS Word I have this option to convert a .doc file into a .pdf file. I don't know if this is usual or if a program on my laptop enables this but I am able to convert my word files to a pdf file.If you have that capability, then you have some add-on program installed. Conversion to PDF is NOT a standard feature of Word or MS Office. Quote I have MS Office 2003 and on MS Word I have this option to convert a .doc file into a .pdf file. Hi you are probably thinking about "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer " it's part of Office 2003 and creates MS image files or TIFF files from documents. It's not widely used, PDF is pretty much the defacto standard for document images Quote QuoteI have MS Office 2003 and on MS Word I have this option to convert a .doc file into a .pdf file. No I know exactly what "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" is as I use that when I don't have my printer. I actually have the Adobe Reader sign in the corner and when I put my mouse over it it says "Convert to Adobe PDF". I'd go with what soybean says, that I may perhaps have an add-on which I'm currently not sure how I got it but I ain't complaining it's quite a useful tool for me.Meanwhile xenium has scored his third drive-by this month... Where's wangming when we need him ? ?Just another reason for a SinBin. |
