Answer»

my COMPUTER has installed VLC dvd player but it cant READ all dvds only one and the dvds that VLC cant read are almost the same so what so what other software could
i DOWNLOAD  for windows or ubuntu thank u  VLC is a player that recognises most formats. Maybe the regional setting is different, but you have not stated where you or your DVDs are fromthe one i can watch is from BBC some of  the ones i cant are also from BBC the one i can is DVD 5 the other one i cant its also from DVD 5 the other i cant is DVD 9
DVD 5 and DVD 9 are the size of the DVD not the region. You need to tell us where YOU are and what REGION the DVDs are from. nice question i am in Germany im not sure where my laptop is from but the dvds are from Britain(i think)   now what iv been doing some tests and i got so please tell me what other software could i install for ubuntu or windows ok
That kind of language is against forum rules, there is no need for it.

They are designations of download size for burning so we may be into a copyright/region code bypass situation...

KM PLAYER IS  A GOOD SOFTWARE TO  READ ALL FORMATS

KM Player is alleged by many people to install spyware. Probably better not to try it.

You could try a plug-in to WMP.
