|
Answer» When I turned my laptop on today it couldnt play sound and pops up with a message saying no audio input device installed... It was fine yesterday... Why has this happened and how do I fix it? thankyou. The Driver will be on the laptop Driver CD that shipped with the MACHINE... ok will do, but do you know why it's done this? You will have to tell us.....helpful, that... i can't think of anything i've done differently to usual i was just looking for ideasDid you install anything? Any error messages? What happened before the problem started? ect... Have you located your driver YET?installed nothing, downloaded nothing, just no sound when i turned it on today. also not yet, they dont seem to have any on the site so i was looking aroundWhat do you mean they don't have it on the site? What model and manufacturer is it?Advent 5312, i found one ( i think) on the tech guys websiteDoes Advent even have a website? Wow... I found this: http://laptopdrivers.net/advent-5312-laptop-download-windows-vista-xp-drivers/ Quote Driver for Windows Vista & XP - Advent 5312 Notebook Realtek HD AudioCheers, but it's working with the one i just downloaded. Just wish I knew what i did to mess it up in the first place... Thanks for all your help anyways! It may have been an outdated version of the driver, an unstable version. Anyways, as long as it works now. There are numerous reasons a driver file can become CORRUPTED... Glad you're fixed up. |
