Solve : My New Everest report for an audio driver?

Answer»

Hi again, I didn't know how to post an Everest report before (i.e., not in a paragraph), it's not a text, but I don't exactly have the text thing down, so this is the best I have, lol. Here goes nothing (everything above Debug - PCI) .

And there it is, I post this in hopes that you can point me towards an audio driver that's compatible with my system.

I've tried the Device Manager (uninstalling & finding media/audio hardware to restore my sound) only to be turned away.

Thanks for any assistance. :-) So you still haven't bought a sound card for 20 Bucks and installed it...correct ? ?Try this driver
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-36798-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=ca&product=366140&os=228&lang=enHi Patio, if I get the sound card, how will I know what's compatible with my PC, or does it matter? Can I just get any card? Thanks. Thanks for your suggestion JJ, i'll see what happens. ETA, still nothing after the download. You have to run the driver after you download it.I thought I just click the logo on the desktop to run it. I know, i'm kind of slow, lol.
