Solve : MyMailList - ?Changing Font size on Mailing Labels?

Answer»

Recently I installed MyMailList & Postage Saver Delux program on my computer, and I've been trying to figure out how to change the Font size that actually prints on Small Mailing Labels.  I can get it to change the Font & Font size in the Data form, however, that information doesn't seem to transfer to the label that gets printed.  It looks LIKE it is about a Font size 8 or 9 which leaves plenty of room on the labels for a larger size that would be easier to read.  I've looked through the book that came with the program and I can't find anything.  I tried going on line for help and apparently the program needs JAVA, which I have, but apparently it isn't recognizing it and keeps trying to make Internet EXPLORER my default browser.  I use Firefox.  Thank youI'm not familiar with MyMailList & Postage Saver Deluxe.  So, I'll ask, do you have Microsoft Word on your computer?  Yes, I've got Office Home & Student 2007.Well, you can create, and save, mailing labels with Word.  To open a template for labels, open Word and click the Office Start Orb (the round icon in the upper left corner) and click New.  In the New Document panel that OPENS, you'll see a list of templates in the left column.  Click Labels and then click Mailing and shipping labels.  Make the appropriate selection on the next screen and proceed.  If you have a label package such as Avery 8160, you can choose a template that's designed to work that product.

Edit: Since you have Excel, entering names and addresses in to Excel and then APPLYING a technique called Mail Merge can be used to print the labels from Word based on the contacts list in Excel. I am not that familiar with using Excel.  Where would I go to make an Address List in Excel?  I've checked the online instructions and it just says to make a mailing list to merge with Word, but it did say "how" or where to go to do it.
Thank youMail Merge using Excel was merely a suggestion.  You can create labels directly in Word.

Edit: If you have a large number of addressees and you occasionally need to add or delete addressees, or change elements of the list for certain addressees, using Excel and the Mail Merge technique can be a real productivity booster.  Here's a excellent video showing how to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCmSFEpVgPQThank you, I will check out the video.  You've been very helpful.
