Solve : Need a calendar with reminders?

Answer»

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good calendar program, in which reminders can be set each day, that I can put on my desktop? It doesn't necessarily have to be freeware.
I know Outlook has one but I don't use it for my emails.

Thank you for any help So, you want an email program that ALSO has a calendar, right? Why not use Outlook for email, since you have it?SunBirdQuote from: soybean on July 14, 2007, 09:33:11 AM

I hadn't realised that. Can you explain how I could use it outside of Outlook, please?

Thank you for the link I'll have a look at that one too

judieau, you got your reply comments in the quote box along with what you were quoting. Your comments should be outside the box. In other words, TYPE your reply after the [/quote], not before it.

Oh, my apologies about that I thought I had done that and by the time I sent it, it was too late to change it.

Sorry, I meant the Calendar. Am I ABLE to use the Calendar on the desktop too, outside of Outlook?

The reason I ask about this is that a friend has a good Calendar on his desktop called a Calendar Desklet which is a Linux application.
He has the Linux OS and I have XP Home so I'm not able to use the same one.

I was just interested to see if there was something comparable.

Thank you for your help

I'm quite SURE such a feature is not standard in Outlook. However, an add-on feature called Quick Calendar might serve your requirements. I haven't used it; I FOUND it via Outlook's Help.Thank you for your help again, soybean

I just found this so I'll give it a shot, as well as what you suggested.
It actually looks promising.
