i have a LAPTOP with no working diskdrive and it cannot boot to flashdrive, how can i GET an oparating system on it is there any way apart from connecting it up to another computer and putting an IMAGE on the hard drive that way?
asks because i dont have the cables or the usb device.
was trying to think of a way to get one on through a floppy then can upgrade to XP VIA memorystick but.... thankee X  Quote

You need to get a hard drive in that laptop.  Then, you can INSTALL an OS.
