Answer» I had accidentally dropped my laptop and crashed it.I can still open some drives and cannot for others. I can still open some drives and cannot for othersWhat drives?? You need to worry more about the HD if you want to recover files/docs. Remove the HD from the laptop and use an EXTERNAL converter adaptor to attach to a working computer and copy there all files needed to retrieve.Quote from: jason2074 on January 18, 2011, 09:34:43 PM What drives?? I cannot open my files in drive C.Quote I had accidentally dropped my laptop and crashed itIs the laptop still working? Quote Sorry, I mean files. I cannot open my files in drive C.How do you open the files and on what machine or method?ok, what's your os? for sure, most COMMERCIAL data recovery software can do this, only if your files couldn't be overwritten. you know only the files in Data still exist there, it is possible for you to restore it you may also find many and many recovery software from searching engine, recuva is good, free one, but only for deletion recovery, so maybe data recovery wizard is good for your problems, EASY and stable one glad to share the link: www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/Thanks for sharing i solved this problem !!! because i have the same problem too... I also have the same problem. I accidently dropped my laptop and some files of my financial year end presentation cannot be opened. I put a lot of works into it to recover my files. It would have cost me my presentation and likely my job if I couldn’t GET my files back. I felt like the World has collapsed on me. However, I sent it to Fields Data Recovery. Fields Data Recovery has recovered everything for me fast and not too expensive.Thank you guys for your advise. I decided to send my laptop to company for recover all my data (same company as neal_se - Fields Data Recovery). I will get a result by Sunday.Quote from: York on January 19, 2011, 05:13:15 AM ok, what's your os? for sure, most commercial data recovery software can do this, only if your files couldn't be overwritten.i agree, i used it before, works well try itHey Hulagirl! Does it work to go to the Data Recovery company? How has it been? Interesting posts from Fields Data Recovery (Aka Rapid Data, Dataphoenix) staff who are well known for posting fake reviews on behalf of their employers. I have ample proof that they are doing this all over, Xom Reviews, FreeIndex, TrustLocal, Trustpilot, the problem is that they are getting away with it because as soon as the review site admins realise whats going on, they either request that their listing is removed, or it is removed by the admins. But if you Google the company you will see floods of negative reviews, read these before you use this company. If you are interested, please watch this video about the scams they perpetrate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31rsjemi2Sg Quote from: Kavin on February 11, 2011, 05:06:59 PM Interesting posts from Fields Data Recovery (Aka Rapid Data, Dataphoenix) staff who are well known for posting fake reviews on behalf of their employers. Nice Rant... However none of the firms you mentioned were brought up in this Post...and no i'm not gonna watch the video... Actually i just saw the Fields reference above...nevermind. |
