Solve : Need Help in Removing Microsoft One-Note?

Answer»

don't recall how I got it, but I need to remove it from my PC. I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Quote

1.Click Start ->Run (windows key + R key) and type appwiz.cpl-> click ok.

2.Click on OneNote 2007 and click on Uninstall or remove.

3.If OneNote 2007 is a part of Office 2007, click on Office 2007-> Change.

4.Click on continue or next for Add/Remove features.

5.Click on the LITTLE arrow attached to Microsoft OneNote and select Not AVAILABLE-> continue.

Hope this helps.

I think Microsoft Office 2010 should work same way as above if you're using that version.thanks for the advice, but Microsoft Office One Note 2007 isn't in the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs. It isn't accessible anywhere I try. When it APPEARS, I can't find any link to removing or uninstalling it. It's buried somewhere!1) Why do you NEED to remove it? What possible harm could it be doing?
2) Insert your MS Office cd, and uninstall whatever components you like via the initial dialog screen. The reason I need to delete it is I can't print anything to my HP printer. All the date gets sent to OneNote! MAYBE there's a way to redirect the data, but I haven't found it.Go into printer settings in the control panel and choose your printer as the default output device. Save the setting and exit. That's it. If you like, you can even delete the ONE NOTE icon from the printer options.Yes, I ended up opening the Microsoft Office and in the SUBPROGRAMS, I found OneNote listed three different configurations. I deleted all of them and ended up deleting the OneNote printer and everything is now printing on the HP printer.

Those are just icons you deleted. It was the change in Printer options that corrected the problem - but okay, as long as you're happy now.
