|
Answer» Hi Guys!
Note 2: The Java Quick Starter (JQS.exe) adds a service to improve the initial startup time of Java applets and applications. If you don't want to run another extra service, go to Start > Control Panel > Java > Advanced > Miscellaneous and uncheck the box for Java Quick Starter. Click OK and restart your computer. When done with updating Java, click on Remove older versions button. Thanks Dear Broni! Little Teddy is always of Gr8-Gr8 help! Well, I tried an Online Install yesterday & fortunately it worked for me! Thanks a lot for your descriptive post, it gave me a unique method & YES I have unticked the "JAVA Quick startup"....I don know WHY these Software Guys want to intrude either the "Start-up Items" or "Services.exe(Automatic)" of a User's machine? These kinds of surreptitious practices are RAMPANT in the Software arena! Poor user has to suffer great HOGS everytime he/she installs a NEW Programme! You may want to click Here for a Reference before installing new apps..... More from the Teddy BEAR and EF our Resident Malware Expert... I'm glad, it worked Thanks Broni & Dear Patio! For this Great Compilation. Glad you have come up with an extensive experience with sneaky softwares! I recently DISABLED "Start-up ITEM" related AVG Link Scanner Free & it pose No problems at all! Companies are so keen to make entries at "Start-up Items" & "Automatic Service"!? I speculate that with such pattern going on unabated, No amount of Sys. Config. (RAM & Processor) would be able to deliver an OPTIMUM usage experience in future! You're welcome |
