Solve : Need help with Movie Maker. Can't save movie files??

Answer»

Hi. I've been making movies for a long while and nothing like this has happened before. I'm trying to save an AMV I made as a movie file so I can post it on youtube, but the same MESSAGE pops up.

It says: "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available and then try again."

I've checked everything it says to check, I've cleaned out everything and DEFRAGMENTED but it still won't work. The movie also isn't too big. What's wrong with it? Where are you trying to save it to? Have you tried saving it to a different PLACE?

Also, what operating system are you using?Quote from: Zylstra on October 12, 2008, 12:27:04 AM

I tried saving it to 'My Movies' folder, and then I tried saving it to a sub folder in the movies folder called 'Miscellaneous'.
My system is Windows XP '98.
