Answer» i recently bought a new mp3 player but it is not DETECTED by my computer at all when connected via usb. i have tried everything, different ports, uninstalling usb drivers ETC but nothing has worked and it is really annoying. my old mp3 player works just fine but my friends DOESNT and neither does another one i bought. The port ISNT physically damaged as my old one works and i have no idea what to do. any help would be jolly good thanksWhat OS do you have? What model of MP3 player is it? Does your friend have the same model? Do any other USB devices work properly, or do they give you trouble as well? You said your old MP3 player still works? Have you tried your MP3 player on another computer?
