I need software that will import a .pdf file and then PRODUCE a .pdf file that has fillable fields. I know there is software that will allow a person to do this manually but I need one that will AUTOMATICALLY find the fields in the .pdf and then make them electronically editable. For example: I could have a job application that is in a pdf form that is not editable on a computer (I would have to print it out and fill it out by hand). I would want software that can take in the job application file, detect the blank fields, make those fields editable, and then output a .pdf that has fillable fields. Free or inexpensive software is what I'm looking for. Please don't recommend Adobe Acrobat as it is what I am trying to find an alternative for. If not there is no app that will do this for you so fill it out manually.Patio I respect that you're a moderator but you must've misunderstood the question. I do not need help filling out the forms I need to create fillable forms from non-fillable ones. The job application example was hypothetical and I am aware that online forms exist but they are not what I'm looking for. Also, Adobe Acrobat can do what I am requesting so I know that it is possible.I understand and i respect the fact you MAY have mis-understood as well...
All i am saying is many .pdf forms are locked by the Author and cannot be modified.
Hope you find a workable solution.Perhaps the OP needs to review the copyright laws of his country.

In general, one can not just take a verbatim file and change a few items without a violation of the copyright.

If one needs a form like some published d form, one mist create an new, original form that gathers the same information, but is not a mere copy of the published form.

Think about it. The original author must be rewarded for DERIVATIVE work.
