I have been a strong supporter of AVG for years now, but recently I've been questioning it's worth as viruses have been getting the better of it. I have now had several situations now where AVG has been rendered completely inert by viruses. I think this dog has had it's day.

So does ANYONE have any recommendations for a replacement anti-virus? I'm thinking about Avira as it also works on Linux (as I'm thinking about making a Linux diagnostic disc)If you are also RUNNING Windows I would like to suggest using avast!. Low on system resources...unobtrusive...and just flat out does it's job...
