Solve : newsletters will not send as email?

Answer»

I created a newsletter in PUBLISHER 2003 and it used to send on my old computer, but on my windows 7 HP when I hit "send as message" it goes nowhere. Also tried creating an email newsletter in WORD and it does the same thing. Any ideas? Have you gone in and set up the e-mail preference for MS Office 2003 on the Windows 7 system? What e-mail client are you using Outlook 2003 or Outlook Express Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/where-is-outlook-express ?

To send a SINGLE page as an e-mail message or to preview it before sending, you must have Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook Express (version 5.x or 6.0) installed on your computer. From link below that has rest of info:

For best results, Outlook 2003 should probably be used so that the two are compatible. Not sure if the newer Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail will support the instruction from Publisher 2003 to perform a direct to e-mail send request.Yeah! That worked! THank you so very much!! Sweet! Did you END up going with Outlook 2003 or did you get it to work with the newer Windows Mail for Windows 7? Just curious in case others have similar issue and come upon this, they will know you use Outlook 2003 or the newer Windows Mail for 7.Windows Mail is the email client that came with Windows Vista. Windows Live Mail is AVAILABLE via download for Windows 7.
