Solve : No "CAPS" light?

I have a wireless keyboard that doesn't have a 'caps on' light.  Is it POSSIBLE to write a short program for windows XP 2000 Pro that would put a NOTE on the screen when the caps key is on?  Or a red light.  or anything.     I have no programming skills at all.
