Yes, I have tried latest drivers, however the computer just wouldn't use them or something, I get the same message,
as far as know, it's just a standard audio card?

I recently installed AoE Gold EDITION, (AoE and AoE: RoR)
But it was working fine with these, until It went from grandma's place to mine (it's my grandpa's bro's comp)

this help at all?I would borrow a buddy's card and install it and it's drivers to determine if the card has failed.tsh like my parents would ever LET me do that. . .
