Quote Norton anything in my book. I'll have to second that...ill THRID it if thats how u say it, norton gives my grandma problems too but she wont switch.. I've been using NAV 2002 since Sept 2002. By the time my CURRENT subscription expires, it will be four years. At that point, I think I'll switch to something else; I believe they will no longer support NAV 2002. Anyway, it's worked fine for me. I got NAV 2002 as part of NSW (Norton System Works 2002), which I originally used with Win 98SE. When I upgraded the OS on my main machine to Win XP, I installed only NAV from the NSW CD. When I bought NSW, it was bundled with Norton Personal Firewall, which I still use. Works for me. Now, when it comes to uninstalling Norton, I expect I may be cursing Symantec. Removing their components seems to be where so many complaints arise.Soybean, by that time it will be good to format and reinstall everything anyway! |
