[recovering disk SPACE - old attachment deleted by ADMIN]Do you know what graphic card you have from nVidia?

Go to: www.nvidia.com
under Download DRIVERS > Download Drivers Dropdown > Manually find drivers for my NVIDIA products.

Select your correct product TYPE and series, OS and you need to know if it's either 32 or 64bit.
Search and download the latest drivers. It's quite a large filesize ~100MB.

For example:
Quote

Version: 197.45 WHQL
Release Date: 2010.04.13
Operating System: Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
Language: English (U.S.)
File Size: 117 MB

Once downloaded try run that to install, any luck? i do  it is the correct driver but i fixed that problem though i have a new one
the driver gives me this

[recovering disk space - old attachment deleted by admin]You will need administrator right is run and UPDATE the drivers. Run with admin rights?i am the administrator and uac is offDo you have any security software like Kasperkey which allows/disallows/controls applications behaviour?

If Microsoft "registry security permission" is holding you back:
Go into Regedit and set the permissions on the Nvidia Folder to "Full Control" for both your username and the system!

To do this:
Start > Run > Regedit
Find registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation

Right-click 'NVIDIA Corporation' and select 'Permissions'

Now look for the name of your User Account listed.
If it's there, click on it and then make sure "Full Control" is checked in the "Allow" column down below. Click [OK]. Re-install the original Vid Card drivers and re-boot...
New drivers are rarely better drivers.
