docx file and xml documents will not open properly, im told they are office 2007, and that is what i have on my computer, I even tried a DIFFERENT computer also with office 2007 and no luck, I just get bits and pieces of document but also lots of errors. Not sure if i need to install something else?
Or any other ideas to try?

Specifically, what "lots of errors" are you getting? What is the computer telling you?HI, well, this came from a college professor, so im assuming it was UPLOADED right. I saved it to my desktop, in the main folder i have 3 other folders and an xml doc, most of the files wont open and the ones that do, I can READ some info, but then a bunch of gibberish, almost like its not formatted properly, or that im missing something to tie all files together.
All the xml files are 1kb each, and open in IE, but also SHOWS all the commands. I dont know if im explaining this right,
So, not really any errors, but not formatted properly, or something.
Any ideas??Can you ask other students who might have received the same file(s) whether they had such problems? Were the files compressed/zipped when you downloaded them? Repair Install Of Office...
