Solve : office delema?

Answer»

Decided we REALLY need to up-date from OFFICE 2003.  Should we buy office 2007, or  try OpenOffice 3.1.
Any suggestions?Since Open Office is Free i'd try that 1st to see if it fit my needs before i'd purchase Office... Quote from: Nealf on December 28, 2009, 08:00:31 AM

What brought you do that decision?Looking at various forums, it seems there is quite a bit of difference between the 03 and 07 versions.  That's why I thought about upgrading.  Then when I found OOo I thought..Why not and figured this was the place to get good feedback. What differences are there that you need?Looks like there are MANY more integrated things in word, and I seem to find more formulas and COLUMNS in excel.Never ever consider about OpenOffice..or you'll witness further fall in the Staff Productivity!

Everyone will then have a decent time to relish a CUP of Coffee till the document loads using OO, instead remain stick to Microsoft Office 2003.

One needs to have a 'Robust'* machine to run Office 2007 as optimally to that to 2003!
