Answer» Decided we REALLY need to up-date from OFFICE 2003. Should we buy office 2007, or try OpenOffice 3.1. Decided we really need to up-date from office 2003.What brought you do that decision?Looking at various forums, it seems there is quite a bit of difference between the 03 and 07 versions. That's why I thought about upgrading. Then when I found OOo I thought..Why not and figured this was the place to get good feedback. What differences are there that you need?Looks like there are MANY more integrated things in word, and I seem to find more formulas and COLUMNS in excel.Never ever consider about OpenOffice..or you'll witness further fall in the Staff Productivity! Everyone will then have a decent time to relish a CUP of Coffee till the document loads using OO, instead remain stick to Microsoft Office 2003. One needs to have a 'Robust'* machine to run Office 2007 as optimally to that to 2003! * Pentium 4 struggles with modern day Software Applications, Core2Duo & respective chipset are the pre-requisites nowadays! Quote Never ever consider about OpenOffice..or you'll witness further fall in the Staff Productivity!Well it isn't exactly expensive....
