Solve : opening microsoft word?

When I try to open a microsoft office product, I get this message:

'This MSI must be launched through setup.'

I get this error 3 times before the program will open.
I have also recently been getting this message if I try to install something.When did this start? Operating system? Version of MS Word?

FlameIt has been doing it for about 6 months now.

I have windows XP Home Edition. And it is Office 2002cmcquain....... Try this ....remove M/S office ...using the add/remove feature in the CONTROL panel ....and after its all removed .......... REINSTALL Office 2002 from the CD .


dl65 I tried that LAST week. It didn't workcmcquain...... Exactly what error messages are you getting ....and is this an ORIGINAL M/S cd or a pirated copy ?
