I got imgburn and got the disk to boot in the new system. I get to the screen where it says TRY Ubuntu without installing Install Ubuntu Check Disk for defects Test memory Boot from first hard disk F1 Help F2 Language F3 Keymap F4 MODES F5 Accessibility F6 Other Options I clicked Install Ubuntu and it went to a black screen with a blinking line and that was it. Reset and got same screen and clicked Checck disc for defects and the same thing happened. With imgburn: I clicked "write image file to disk". Then I clicked "browse for a file". I select the zip file which is a .iso file. and I burn it. Do I NEED to add more FILES or what?you could choose "try ubuntu without installing" and then install from within the Live Version of the OS.I did. Had the same problem. |
