Answer» I have recently come across a freeware utility which checks browser bookmarks for duplicates, and lapsed LINKS. It's called AM-Deadlink, found at and is very useful. It got me wondering it there was something similar that could be used to check for DUPLICATE files. I'm sure that I have put the same file in a couple of folders, but it's tedious to check individual files. What I'm looking for is a utility which will check for files of the same name in DIFFERENT folders, and if they are of the same size, created on the same day, will report them.
