Solve : Outlook 2002 Calendar Archive Question???? |
|
Answer» HOPE I am posting in the right place. I am in a bit of a panic. I have a PPC that I sync with my laptop, which has Outlook 2002. I have stuff in my calendar GOING back several years (for nostalgia purposes). Anyway, today I had to go back on my PPC about 8 months or so to check an OCCURENCE and realized that there was nothing there before February of this year!!!! When I got home, I saw the same thing on my Outlool calendar on my laptop. I was so nervous I had lost all these dates. Even THOUGH I still consider myself a computer newbie, I looked around in Outlook and realized that all my dates were there but they had now been moved to the Archive folders (even though I had not wanted them there!). So my question is, how can I GET those dates back in to the regualr calendar so that I can then sync them back into my PPC? Is there any negative to having these in the regular calendar and not in the Archive section of Outlook on my laptop? For those of you who are nostalgic and like to be able to look back over years of important dates/events/activities, etc. how do you keep that info in Outlook? Thanks so much everyone! Looking forward to your replies CatHow do you know they're in the Archive file? It they are, try importing from the archive file.Quote from: soybean on August 20, 2007, 03:34:15 PM How do you know they're in the Archive file? It they are, try importing from the archive file. I looked in the Archive-Calendar folder and checked all those dates going back 3-4 years and saw all the appt's, activities, etc. Sorry for the newbie question but can you walk me through the steps to import the Archive calendar into the regular Outlook calendar? |
