Answer» oi, here is the thing. i maintain contacts for my Motorola Q USING Outlook 2003, i want (and for most it WORKS) this format displayed: company name first-name last-name for most contacts this works, but for some it does: company name last-name, first-name what is up ? i can't see any difference in what i do... it's weird (and ALSO annoying :} thanks!Check the "File as" dropdown under the company name, as sometimes this changes for no apparent reason the way contacts are displayed eg First Name - Last Name to Last name - First Name.tried all that, the "File As" under the company name is where it goes wrong.... RANDOMLY i will only do LASTNAME, firstname. i digged all over Outlook settings and the one place where you can set it it's set but not picked up by the contacts.
