Does anyone know if Outlook 2002 or Outlook express can be downloaded as a stand alone program and where to get it?  I have outlook 97 from an old Office program but it will not work.  I have downloaded IE 7 and I thought it would install a new version of Outlook but it did not.  Anyone have any Ideas?Outlook is not free; it can purchased separately or as part of MS Office, depending on the version.  It is not distributed by download; you need to buy it on CD from a retailer or ONLINE seller.  Outlook Express has been bundled with IE through numerous VERSIONS up through IE/OE 6.  So, you have OE, whether you know it or not.  IE/OE 6 users who upgrade their IE browser to version 7 will still have OE 6; Microsoft did not include an updated version of OE with IE 7.any way to extract Outlook from 6.0?Outlook and Outlook Express are two separate programs. Outlook Express is on every version of Windows for years. If you want Outlook you have to pay for it and install it. There is nothing to extract. It is not there unless you get it.I now have my outlook express back.  Here is how.  I went to my control PANEL.  To ADD remove programs and then to add remove windows components.  Outlook was listed there and checked.  I unchecked it and exited.  I then went back and checked it .. and it appeared on my desktop.  KIND of like a reinstall.  Thanks for your help guys.I would have never guessed that is what you were trying to do by the information you provided.
