Hi, If I use my laptop away from home, I can receive e-mails but not send or reply to them. I guess there is something wrong in my settings, can anyone help?
REGARDS LudditeHave you tried to send mail from various locations away from home or just one location? Exactly what are your settings for Outgoing mail, ESPECIALLY on the Servers and Advanced TABS of your email account properties PANEL?

Yes, its from every location away from home.
My settings are; Servers - Outgoing mail (SMTP) - smtp.tesco.net, Secure Logon & Authentication - unticked.
Advanced - SMTP=25, all boxes unticked.
No, I have'nt contacted my ISP (Tesco) as I thought I must be at fault in my settings!

Thanks for that, I've CHANGED my settings and sent some test e-mails from home which still work ok. Will try again when next on my travels & will let you know how it goes. Once again, many thanks for your time.
