Solve : Outlook issue?

Answer»

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help me figure something out. I have Windows XP and have been using Outlook for my default mail handler for the past year. This morning I was typing an email and think I hit a key(s) that did something strange. Now when I reply or compose an email the space bar puts dots instead of spaces and I have all these BACKWARDS P's (something to do with paragraphs?). I don't know what I did and the settings LOOK normal. I have no idea how to get this back to normal. Even if I open an email from SOMEONE the dots in between words have been added to the text when I hit 'reply'. Any suggestions would be greatly APPRECIATED! You accidentally pressed turned on the SHOW Paragraphs option.
If you open a New email and look at the top of the toolbar you should see on the far right hand side a symbol that looks like a paragraph mark. Click it and the dots and funny marks should go away. If you don't see that then click on View, Toolbars, and make sure the Standard toolbar is checked. I've included an handy dandy picture of the toolbar with the button circled so you'll know what I'm talking about.
