Answer» We have a tiscali connectiong at home but we have also got a vodaphone 3g usb modem. When on broad BAND send & receivce works finr. When using Voda`phone modem email will not send - it receives no problem. we somtimes GET an error message but most of the time its corrupted we can get a range of errors from smtp.(some domain) to a garbaled "search folder active"So, you have two email accounts setup in Outlook, one for tiscali and one for Voda`phone modem? Is that RIGHT? What is Voda`phone modem? Is it a wireless Internet connection? Why do you need both Voda`phone modem and tiscali?ok... so we have been told that because we are out of our boudband service that we need to get vodafones smtp settings and all of that any sugestions? btw this HAPPENS whenever we are on any connection that is not tisali Please answer Soybeans questions we can't help you if you don't answer our questions. Many ISPs will not allow users who aren't on their net to send emails using their smtp server. So when ever you're not on a Tiscali connection, Tiscali's smtp server refuses to send your emails.
