Answer» Hi, I've just taken over management of a small real estate agency. Due to it being so in the dumps, we are doing a complete overhaul of all the systems and one of the things I would like to get done first and done right is our communications. For now, I'm trying to FIGURE out a way to use Outlook not only for external and internal messaging, but I also need some form of sending other workers tasks to do and being notified when they have finished the tasks. I need it done in a way so that a record of me sending the task and a record of them entering in the system that they have completed the task is created and stored. Now if this could all be done through outlook that would be great but I'm basically just looking for your ideas. Throw them at me, if there is a better piece of software to use let me know. HOPE to hear from you, Thanks in advance.I'd bet what you want to do can be done with Outlook, but I think you're really asking about ADVANCED techniques and expecting to much from a forum as a source of DETAILED instruction on this. I think you will need to make a serious commitment to studying a book or video on Outlook, and possibly getting some FORMAL training on it and/or paying a consultant to help you set this up.
