Answer» Here's the situation. I have an OLD Packard bell Imedia VL light (there are no DRIVERS on the manufactures website so don't bother looking there), I am RUNNING the system on windows ME for the purposes of running old games. My problem is that the PC was designed to run on Windows XP not ME and so I can't find any sound drivers. The sound card is a SigmaTel C-Major Audio Does anyone know where I can find drivers for this thing? Alternatively I have the XP drivers can they be rewritten to suite an OLDER OS?Never mind GOING down to Win98SE. The WinXP driver was in actuall fact compatible with WinME but for some reason I kept getting a BSOD. Stated compatability in the drivers .ini file so I don't know what was going wrong.
